The Archive Project is a resource for curators, historians, journalists, artists and those who are interested from the public. VAB has collaborated with Visual AIDS NYC/ the Archive Project in 1996 on the then largest display of work nationally by artists from the HIV/AIDS community at the Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama. Visual AIDS Boston worked with the Estate Project on the Virtual Collection, an online data base of digital images of images created by artists with HIV/AIDS. VAB was responsible to ensure that Massachusetts artists were included in the online national database which was launched in 1998. VAB is working on collecting information on the Boston HIV/AIDS community to archive at the Boston Public Library. For more info call VAB at 617-464-3559.
