Created in Massachusetts Campaign

A statewide initiative to promote the following: the buying of contemporary art and crafts created in Massachusetts, the purchase of publications by Massachusetts authors and poets, and to promote attendance of performance based-work (dance, theater, spoken word, performance art), art events, and/or film-based works/screenings created by Massachusetts Artists.

Goals:
1) To support and encourage Commonwealth’s creative individuals working in the arts. Our artists, writers, poets, dancers, performers, filmmakers, and crafts people are the foundation of our creative economy and need to be more visible and celebrated at all levels of their careers.

2) To encourage the citizens of the Commonwealth to become arts supporters, participants, patrons, and art collectors, no matter their economic means.
