FAQ's
Please note that we are a Massachusetts based organization and ALL info sent to the List Serve needs to be open to MA artists (i.e. if you have a call for art and it is only for Vermont artists - we will not send it to our list). The Artists Foundation reserves the right to edit and to not forward requests to our list serve.
How do I get my reception information sent out to the AF's list serve?
Sorry, but we do not send out listings for receptions/events for
other organizations or individuals.
What do you accept for consideration
to be sent to your list serve?
The types of information that will be considered: job opportunities,
volunteer opportunities, calls for art/artists working in all disciplines,
alerts on public policy and legislative issues/initiatives, residency opportunities,
curatorial opportunities, calls for proposals, grant opportunities, workshop
opportunities that are sponsored, cosponsored or endorsed by the AF, available
studio space, and visiting artists/lecture series that are sponsored, cosponsored,
or endorsed by the AF.
How do I get my call for
artists, job opening, etc. sent out to the AF List Serve?
You can email us the information you would like us to consider sending
to the list. We ask that you make sure the information is clear and concise.
One format to use is a listing format: who, what, when, where, contact info/person,
how to get there, if there is a cost etc. If you don't know what a listing
is then please visit out section on listings. Please do not send us your
information in an attachment. We will not open attachments sent to us,
nor will we send out attachments to our list. What you would like us to
send out must be able to be sent as text in a body of an email. No Exceptions.
The Artists Foundation reserves the right to edit and to not forward requests
to our list serve.
Please make sure that if you are sending us a call for entries, a call for for art donations or call for work for an art auction-meets our Fair trade means fair trade policies- see our section Issues and Areas of Interest for more info. We will not send out any request that does not meet our FTMF.
