
COLLABORATIONS
The Artists Foundation fosters collaborative relationships with variety groups and organizations. Here is a sampling of some of those collaborations.
| The Project Space at the Bromfield Gallery is a partnership with the Artists Foundation and the Bromfield Gallery, and is part of the Bromfield's outreach to and support of the local arts community. The Bromfield Gallery is Boston's oldest artist-owned, commercial gallery. | ||
| The Paine Scholarship Award, established by the Boston Art Dealers Association (BADA) in 1999 in memory of Stephen D. Paine, is designed to support undergraduate art students entering their final year in a studio program in colleges in Boston. BADA, the Boston Foundation, and the Artists Foundation are partners on this award. | ||
| The Artists Foundation is an active member of the ACT II Coalition. | ||
| The New Freedwoman Project is a collaborative of artists, arts educators, and community activists who seek to address issues of civil and human rights, family rights/ recognition, and visibility within the communities of incarcerated, disenfranchised and/or poor women. The focus and action of the Project is to create visibility, positive self image and opportunities for community connection for incarcerated, disenfranchised and/or poor women using spoken word, movement and visual art as tools for social change. The Artists Foundation is the official 501 C3 non profit sponsor of the project. | ||
| ThePrincessProject.com is an interdisciplinary conceptual art project that examines gender roles, gender assignment, fairy tales, Royalty & class structures, mass culture, identity, race & ethnicity, the "commoditification & branding" of individuals, and gender issues by utilizing a vast array of mediums including: new media and digital image making, sculpture, performance, installation, photography, video, and the internet. The Artists Foundation is the official 501 C3 non profit sponsor of the project. |
